I'm not even sure how to introduce this post. Owen was born into our family in late October and I was blessed to be able to spend 3 days with him and his family. I can not fully express the enjoyment I had as I spent those days in the Godbold house. Owen's big brother, Samuel, is such a fun, sweet, and lovable little boy and Owen was the snuggliest little baby- it was truly a blessing to be apart of this time their family's life!

While visiting, I was blessed to be able to photograph Owen for his newborn photos. Big brother Samuel found his way into a few too!

Last Tuesday evening I met the Fergusons at Bernheim Forest for autumn family photos. I was really looking forward to the session since I so enjoyed working with Brooke on her senior photos. I definitely was not disappointed. The whole family seemed wonderfully comfortable in front of the camera. Their family jokes and funny stories made the evening full of laughs and natural smiles. Thank you Fergusons for the privilege of photographing your family. Hope ya'll enjoy the sneak peak!

Yesterday, my older sister, Laura Beth gave birth to another very handsome little one. They have named him Owen Blakeley. He was 7lb and 13oz and 19.75 inches long. Momma and baby are doing fine! Congratulations Sean and Laura Beth! We are praying he grows to be a great man of God.

Lord willing,Owen's birth announcement photos will be taken early next week! I can hardly wait!

Owen met Uncle Gene just a few hours after he was born. Holding such a little one makes Gene and I so excited to meet our very own baby in the spring.

Last Saturday, I had the great privilege of photographing my oldest nephew. Jakob is a senior in high school and I was more than happy to spend an evening taking his senior photos. Although it was rather chilly, Jakob was a real trooper! We spent most of our time in downtown Louisville in alley-ways and on interesting streets. Jakob made my job so easy because he fell into every pose naturally and was comfortable in front of my lens.

I'm amazed that I continue to have such beautiful and handsome clients to photograph. Every family, every baby, and every individual has been extremely photogenic!

There is going to be a new subject to photograph in the coming months and it will be right here within the Travis household!

Gene and I are excited to share the news that we are expecting our first child sometime in late April or early May!

Last Saturday, I met Brooke and her parents at Bernheim Forest. After the sky threatened several times throughout the day that it would rain, we ended up having lovely light for the session!

Brooke is definitely one of a kind, as you will see from her photos, which made working with her a ton of fun! I'm so glad she came with so many fun ideas, outfits and props (including the family dog, Major)! The bubbles were genius!

I've been waiting for a long time to photograph this little one. I'm friends with her momma and have been praying for momma, baby, and the family. Baby H's momma was in the hospital for a total of 12 weeks waiting for this little beauty. God protected both of them and I'm so thrilled they are home with the rest of the family.

Baby H has a relaxed personality that I've never seen in another baby. She slept for the majority of the session and when she was awake she was content!

I can't express my excitment enough about getting the opportunity to take photos of this tiny little baby. Baby H was just a little over 4 lbs when she was born! Since her birth she gained weight rapidly. O family I am so proud of Baby H and am excited to see what is next for your growing family!
